Mr. M.N. Rajan (Late) created goodwill and rapport among the foreign buyers by supplying quality export products and very much stint to it and got repeated orders continuously and we are now following the footprints left over by him. In every contract we receive from our overseas buyers they used to mention the phrase “Quality : As per previous shipment” which goes without saying that our products met the quality. To be frank there is no claim with respect to quality, quantity, size etc., in our export business since inception.
We reproduce the text of the letter issued by Marine Products Export Development Authority, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India dated 17.08.1984 addressed to The Asst. Collector of Customs & Central Excise Cochin/Tuticorin, which reflects about “GENEX”
"Taking into consideration the satisfactory export performance of the party over the past 10 years, M/s Genex Corporation, (now name changed as Genex) Tuticorin is granted exemption from production of preshipment inspection certificate on voluntary basis from Export Inspection Agency for export of Cuttlefish bones. Therefore it is requested that pre-shipment certificate need not be insisted from the party effective from 17.12.1984. Sd/DR (MRS) Elizabeth Leela George, Deputy Director."

Mr. M N Rajan (1927 – 2008) started his business carrier by floating “GENEX PRODUCE CO” in 1962 , exclusively dealing in export trade of the following products to various countries. In 1974 the name has been changed to “GENEX CORPORATION” and subsequently as “GENEX” FROM July 2005.
